Why should you get to know Mindbodynsoul? I am new to this and to reassure me my brother said "don't worry, most men your age are fat bald and dull", so here goes...
To get to know me could take a while so I will start with the easy bits, I like sport and play whatever is available, I particularly like playing with my children and now that they are older that is excellent fun. My kids are great and I see them as often as I can. I can sail, surf and ski, go to the gym, play tennis and hockey regularly and used to do triathlon. I like to walk, particularly coastal paths in all sorts of weather, have dinner in a pub or cook after. I also like art, music, theatre, film, good food and wine and most of all good company.
The rest is harder so here are some of my likes and dislikes:
I like: beauty and strength with gently sweeping lines and femininity but not fussiness; sand between my toes, wind in my hair, picnics at midnight, skinny dipping and armagnac, indeed anything that gives me goosebumps; strongly held views well presented, people who are spontaneous, interesting, honest and direct; baroque, ballet, jazz, rock, soul and atmospheric films; food in season; but especially things that do what is says on the box
I dislike: celebrity culture, reality TV, fake boobs, foundation and girls who spend too much time adjusting make up; intransigence, whinging and failing to take responsibility for oneself; musicals, farce, garage and incessant beat driven dance music; lists, routines and instruction manuals or days governed by mealtimes and practicalities; but especially packaging of all kinds, particularly on food.
So if you are still reading and would like to meet an interesting guy, a bit older than you, but who is a lot younger in mind, body and soul than the average; who has the confidence of maturity (which actually comes from having been there and knowing why he messed it up) and a good sense of humour, I may be worth a message.

He describes his ideal match thus: Interesting, confident and lively. Slim, fit (in the old fashioned sense), active and adventurous. Someone who is independant but wants company and who regards good times as more important than nice things. Lots of energy is important, being easily bored is not a problem but needing lots of sleep might be! Someone who wants me to make the ordinary things in life a bit more fun, but will soften (rather than laugh) if the completely hopeless romantic in me comes out, and who genuinely would like to be adored. |
